Calls for 2030 EU renewables targets gather momentum

A coalition of NGOs and electricity grid operators have lent their voice to the call for binding 2030 targets for renewables, greenhouse gas reductions and energy efficiency. Opposition to a 2030 renewables target includes the UK government, which is pushing for a greenhouse gas-only target for the EU.
